I discovered a joy for writing essays in university. While it can be restrictive, the form of the academic paper nevertheless enables a kind of hyper-specific inquiry that, in my experience at least, often yields remarkable insights into human nature and civilization. I've written papers on a wide variety of subjects, from The Dark Knight to Father John Misty, Newton's conception of time to the Bible, Ulysses to silicon valley utopianism. Whatever the specific question, I hope you find something here that resonates. Please let me know if you have any questions of your own! I'm always eager to continue the conversation beyond simply the paper that I've written for a class.
